Re: Disneyland 2010
It's so far off that both Midway Mania and World Of Color will be open, so Disneyland Hotel may have a whole new look if it completes it's rumored refurbishment. If Disneyland Hotel isn't refurbished, stay there. It's cheaper than Grand Californian and the rooms are much larger. Chances are it'll cost an arm and a leg to stay there after the refurb though, so keep posted until you know when your making reservations, that way you don't have your mind set on something that will be way different when you arrive.

Re: Disneyland 2010
If money were no object, I'd stay at the CGH. Just for the fact that its a beautiful hotel, and you can't get any closer to the park unless you won a stay in the dream suite.

Re: Disneyland 2010
My wife has stayed at all 3 of the hotels (lucky) over the years and her favorite is the Disneyland Hotel. We did stay at the GCH (only one I've been to) for the 50th though.
It was incredible and the price wasn't all that bad really because we told them we didn't care about view or anything. We just wanted a room with 2 queen beds. Ended up with a view right over World of Disney looking at the monorails passing the Indy show building and it was about $120 a night.
So you never know what you can end up with, just call and ask what specials they have and what the cheapest room you can get is. It was really worth it to be able to walk straight into DCA or Downtown Disney.
We'll be there in 2010 for the party as well.Last edited by mycroft16; 03-27-2008, 09:29 AM.
Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

Re: Disneyland 2010
I love staying at the Disneyland hotels... I go to them instead of the other area hotels because I can trust they'll be nice rooms. But other than that -- go to the cheapest.
Expensive or not, they tend to look the same when your eyes are closed and you're sleeping. Outside of that, you'll be spending your time at the Parks... so why spend extra for something you won't really utilize that much.
