  • New Daytime Parade In 2009...

I just got done reading Al's update and was wondering if anyone knew what this new daytime parade was going to be like next year?

I think it's awesome we're getting a new parade, but I find it odd they're doing it a year before Disneyland celebrates their 55th anniversary. Is this new parade next year going to be the parade they use for the 55th party?

Thanks for any info someone can provide.

Well since its out. The working title is "World of Wonder". With themed units to such things as, Fantasia, Princess and the Frog, Silly Symphonies, and many more. Using Technology developed for a HKDL parade based on Dinosaurs.

You won't miss POD after you see this, methinks. I'm not a big fan of parades...but I'm drooling over what little I've seen.

Silly Symphonies that sounds pretty odd, what other floats will be there. I hope the princess and the frog, plays heavy on the New Orleans theme.

As long as there are no show stops I'm all for it.

Oh wow, I'm happy to hear that they're looking into some of the lesser used properties. It's nice to hear about Silly Symphonies again. :]

The Silly Symphonies themed units is really exciting, since I'm an old-school style Disney fan that loves the classics (even though I am only 22).

Hooray for originality, and hooray for finally getting rid of the god-awful Parade of Dreams! :yuck:

I just hope it has a better soundtrack. PLEASE let it have a better soundtrack!!!

I personally love POD. But I might be just a TAD biased, seeing as I have been working it like 2 to 4 days a week for the past month or so. Yeah...

And I wouldn't mind a great new parade with Show Stops.

As much as I like POD, I hate the 'welcome to our family' music, I hope this new parade will have much, much better music.
