  • Movie Props in Disneyland

Just making this thread to find out all the movie props within Disneyland, here are some i know:

The Haunted Mansion: Organ Player from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

Pirates of the Caribbean: The chest from Curse of the Black Pearl

Indiana Jones Adventure: The truck from either Raiders or Last Crusade

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: The train from The Great Locomotive Chase

Mike Fink Keelboat: This keelboat is from the original series.

    You guys know any others?

It's the one from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

For Pirates, one of Elizabeth's dresses and some various loot has supposedly been "smuggled" into the treasure scene.

I'll have to try to think of some others...

One of the dining room chairs from the Haunted Mansion Movie is in the DL HM attic. Another one of those chairs is in the final scene of POTC (Jack S is sitting on it).

Only the organ consul from 20K Leagues was used in the HM ballroom: the pipes are different.

                  I thought this was interesting

"The Haunted Mansion is not the only attraction in New Olreans Square with this chair. Captain Jack in the Treasure Room at the end of Pirates of the Caribbean is lounging in one as well!

...bit of added speculation, Haunted Mansion is a present day affair. Pirates of the Caribbean happened in the past. Perhaps on one of his many adventures, Reginald stumbled (one of the beheaded husband) upon an old ornate chair in a Spanish treasure room and decided to bring it home."

Sorry, for getting this off topic. There are a few things also in Indy's office.

Or perhaps one of the 999 ghosts currently residing in HM is the Captain himself? Perhaps his soul is tied to the chair, and when Reginald found the chair he ended up bringing the Captain with him?
                    Hmm. . .

Anyways, I have heard that some of the JC stuff are props from various movies. Is this true, and if so what is?

It is indeed interesting, but also a bit horrifying. We don't need this. Anyway, what you're talking about is only the tip of the iceberg. The grand unification is all part of an overriding mega-theme for NOS (including TSI) that the Imagineers have been keeping in their back pocket for decades, ready to pull it out and employ it at some future date if they think that area needs a shot in the arm. It's all built around the figure of Jean Lafitte. It may sound like a wild rumor, but I can assure you it is not.

If you want to read up on the Lafitte thing and check out the considerable evidence for it, see these posts:

Well there are two mini race trains from Hot Lead and Cold feet by BTMR, one when you wait in line, and the other is behind BTMR. The only confusion is that the two trains weren't identical to each other in the movie; one had a red stripe on the smoke stake with the #11 and the other one had a green stripe on the stack. On BTMR, the two trains have both the red stripe and the # 11. Did they use both trains and just repaint one of them?

sorry, built for disneyland, not from the show/movie.

The phone booth inside Club 33 was the elevator in the Happiest Millionaire. And there is a table in Club 33 that was in Mary Poppins.

In DCA's backlot, they have a shelf full of movie props between the restrooms by the millionaire. Nobody would ever notice it because that part is always dead empty. But I remember seeing some of those green poisonous gas balls the had in the rock that the put in the missiles. I remember seeing those.
