Arrr! Pirate Poll: Matterhorn vs. Castle

Okay, so nearly every night, Matterhorn and SB Castle are pirates. Suppose they really battle each other on the high seas. Given the "personalities" and attraction attributes, who emerges battlescarred and victorious - and why? :captain:

Given the ferocity of the Abominable Snowman - for we know that the mountain is not inhabited by a Pixar Snowman - Matterhorn would put up a strong and chilling fight. Its cannon fire would pelt and pierce through Castle like icicles. Does Castle stand a chance if everyone is inside is sleeping? Or do the Good Fairies employ their boulder-and-cannon deflecting spells? I think that if the Snowman were to board Castle, Prince Phillip would have a hard time fighting him. Snowman is bigger, more hairy and has a tendency to jump out of shadows with a menacing yell/growl. But he also pretty much just stays in one place... at which point the window display dolls could attack from behind! Your thoughts?

It's not really the castle, though. The fireworks that retaliate against the Matterhorn are shot from a location on the west side, most likely Frontierland.

Im gonna go with the MATTERHORN. It packs a mightier punch. Its bigger, badder and has more clout. Its the only attraction of its kind (dont even bring up Ex.Everest cause its not the same at all) in any Disney theme park. Its solo. It doesnt need any allies. It can take care of itself. and judging by the way it takes thrashes and beats-up and its daily passengers its no wonder that this swiss sensation stands alone at the summit of its own peaks!
The castle on the other hand, while it may be pretty in pink, magical, whymsical, romantic and cute. its routine duplication, in many forms, leaves the heavy hitting to its bigger and younger apprentices. the castle is distinguished, yes, but lacks the drive and brute strength that embodies the matterhorn. in my view the castle is the mob boss who stays hidden in the secret layer, while the hynch men do the dirty work. and we all know that as soon as the good guys finds out where the mob boss is hiding he is quickly and effortlessly defeated.

The Matterhorn is younger and can just step on the castle. It's not a fair fight. The castle's magic has waned since the walkthrough closed ........

I think it's Matterhorn Vs Splash... or BTM.. or tom Sour Island.. (That would be neat to have fireworks off of there..) Castle is there for working with the winner... LOL (and the star tours fight..)

The Matterhorn Frosts the castle's cookies!! In other words the Matterhorn wins big time. The matterhorn is more daring because it takes the first shot.

Yep! The Matterhorn becomes the "Splatterhorn" whin it ices the Castle into kingdom come. It's simply my favorite all-time landmark.

?? Your kidding right? Wouldn't the Matterhorn be neutral? It is Swiss. Thus leaving the castle to defend against ZURG, the Empire, and whatever evil aliens hail from space mountain. I don't think a few swords and shields are going to hold up against that. Better call in some help from Frontierland.

you guys got it all wrong. it fights tom sawyer island and the castle is the place the matterhorn falls into when it dies! thats what that big splash is at the end DUH!

THe Castle would win. The Matterhorn has all those holes in it. You can see that it has been taking a very bad beating. The Matterhorn might have an abominable snowman, but Sleeping Beauty has a dragon... Slopes down, the turrets win.

The Matterhorn is magic too, otherwise the fireworks would melt the snow.

The Castle is pretty strong though, it repels the attacking Stealth Tinkerbell with anti-aircraft missiles. And it perfected the Star Wars defense technology.

Whichever one is destroyed gets turned into "Celebration West" condo towers, so the Castle had better win!
