  • How much would it cost...

So, I live in Lodi, CA. How much would it cost if I wanted to go to Disneyland with my parents via Driving, get a hotel room for 2 nights, go to both parks for 2 days, and then drive home?

How far is Lodi to Anaheim?

2 Night Stay @ The Paradise Pier: $420.00 (3 people)
    (2) 1 Day Parkers Hopper $182.00
    ______________________________________________
    Total (W/O Driving Cost) $602.00

If you wanted to go a little cheaper you could stay at the Anabella Hotel for ...$248 aprox. for 2 nights with 3 people.

You could stay at one of the hotels across the street for cheaper.
Lodi to Anaheim is one or two tanks of gas (each way), depending on what you are driving, so look at $100 to $250 just for gas.
Don't forget to budget food, depending on if you are going to eat all your meals at the parks or across the street. Most of the motels across the street include a continental breakfast.

The internet is your friend. Check for hotels on orbitz.com, check the mileage on Google maps and multiply it by the mileage your car gets, check ticket prices on disneyland.com. You will be able to get a better idea than anyone here would ever give you.

                360 miles *2 = 720 miles.
At $4/gallon and 25mpg, that's $115 in gas. That seems like a lot, until you look up airline prices for three from whatever airrport you have to drive to.
And it's expensive if one of your choices is not to go.

It is unfortunate that DL is expensive for everyone except, oh, 600,000 or so people. (And those under three years old.) If only there were a way to even out the field,.....
