  • [Question] Blocked-Out Saturday -- what to do?

So we're going to be in Anaheim on Saturday, July 12, but our APs will be blocked out. We'll be going to the Chip and Dale Breakfast at GCH in the morning and then we thought we'd go down to Newport Beach.

Does anybody have an idea of what to do around Newport Beach with two little kids all day? Does anybody know anything about Balboa Island?

Maggie doesn't get along with the other babies . . .

I live in newport Beach. There is a bunch of things to do. Sadly, the fun zone is not what it used to be. But there is the ferry, ferris wheel and the merry go round down there. There is always the beach to visit too. you can always bring your bikes down and cruise the boardwalk and there are lots of little shops that are pretty cool. Food places are great down there too. I just stay away from Rubys because its always crowded.

Then drive over to Fashion Island. They have a fun interactive fountain for kids and a cool koi pond. There are also movies there, or you can just grab an ice cream and walk around, people watching.
