We just booked the Doubletree through Priceline...$54.00 + taxes and fees.

If anyone has any words of wisdom I'd love to hear

Upon checking in, be sure and get as many warm cookies as you can!!!

You'll have a great time there! We've stayed there a few times at the P-L rate.

    It's tough to beat!

    Enjoy!

I think that they have started charging for parking but you may want to call to confirm that.

Yes, that's the one...I kinda figured we'd get slammed with a spendy parking fee. I guess it sort of goes with the territory :greedy:

They do charge for parking, however, free shuttle to the parks. Every hour on the hour.

Starbucks is across the street and the mall on the otherside of the hotel is pretty cool. Nice Vans skatepark.

Besides the yummy cookies, the most comfy beds. I just stayed there myself and the Front Desk Manager was very nice and gave us an upgrade. It doesn't hurt to be a Hilton Family employee, but as an employee, they tend to not give us the upgrades.

Have a good time and if your not shy about asking, at least try and get a room that faces the park. Nice view.

                  WHICH Doubletree???

The one by the Convention center on Harbor does not offer a free shuttle, as part of the building permit process, they have to use the ART system, which costs $4 per day.

The Doubletree on City Drive in the city of Orange, next to the Block of Orange Shoppertainment center does offer a free shuttle.

Wow... it's ok, please take a breath and calm down. Everything will be fine.

It's clear that it's Doubletree Orange (which call themselves Doubletree Anaheim/Orange), and not the Doubletree Guest Suites in Anaheim.
