• Best Western Park Place Inn

The Best Western Park Place Inn is one hotel we are looking at for our trip, as now we found out that the Carousel doesn't offer much of a continental Breakfast (just like 3 cereals and some muffins), which is a requirement with my mom for a hotel.

So what kind of breakfast does this place offer? I read in some reviews on hotel sites that it's in the restaurant next door? Is it still complimentary? What does it entail?

Is the hotel worth the price? I know it's like less than a 10 minute walk to the gates of the park.

Their website says it does offer a continental breakfast, but I'm not sure what that entails. Disneyland Vacation Hotels Amenities of Best Western Park Place Inn, Anaheim

The continental breakfast is above the captain kids next door, its ok, just kind of ehh. The hotel itself is good, fairly clean, and we load up the fridge with things for breakfast. It's my favorite to stay at with kids that need naps because it's close enough for walking back to take a nap without much of an issue.

This is where we stay every time. The breakfast is meh. We run to Von's on the way from the airport and just fill up the fridge. It's our favorite choice.

I stayed a week at the Best Western Park Place Inn back in 2006, my room included the 'Continental Breakfast. As most have stated here - the Continental Breakfast is meh. Meaning it's the usual fare served in a Continental Breakfast set-up: Assorted Rolls, cereal, coffee, tea, juice and whole fruit.

I think if you're looking for someplace that serves a hot breakfast, you'll probably need to look further out from the DLR, and possibly a higher room rate.

Good luck!

If I remember correctly which at the moment is a big if, you could use the voucher they gave you for the continental breakfast on the 2nd floor of captain kidds or you could use the voucher as a coupon for the 1st floor of captain kidds for the hot breakfast. Mcdonalds is also a quick walk from the hotel.

I do feel it my duty to warn the OP about Capt. Kidd's. This place is infamous among the Disney crowd. I've never heard a good word said about it, but I have heard terms like "food poisoning" and "Health Department" used. Caveat emptor.

The hotel is clean and well-kept. Capt. Kidd's is infamous, although the two times we ate there no one got sick.
The best thing about the hotel is its proximity to DL. From our room window we could even watch the fireworks.

We just stayed there and was happy with the price & quality (clean & everything looked new). Capt Kidd's was mediocre selection and not that appealing (coffee, milk, oj, apple juice, 3 kinds cereal, COLD boiled eggs, white/wheat toast, plain/raisin bagels, one kind of danish, apples, oranges). We only ate there once, as it was fun inside, but the food was meh. No one got sick. We brought our own cereal, fruit, etc for the room. Coffee pot is a single cup...they gave me lots of extra single packs and I just brewed one cup at a time. It was pretty fast, so I'm glad I didn't pack my coffee pot (although the taste of coffee not that great - it works).
