  • [Review] Disneyland Hotel...good times

We just got home from a couple of days at the Disneyland Hotel. The rooms are really large and very comfortable. Pools were great and the kids spent a lot of time just floating like hippos. All of the staff was EXCELLENT! but... I have one complaint...Hamburgers and chicken nuggets at the little snack bar over by the pool...TERRIBLE. How hard is it to cook a burger? I really wish someone at Disney would get a clue about the food. we are not all drones, I don't even mind paying $7 or $8 bucks for one but at least "try" to make it taste good! With better food - The experience would have been perfect.

Just so they weren't wiggling their ears and blowing bubbles...

Ok, I get the reference to the jungle cruise, but what does it have to do with hamburgers or chicken nuggets?

I'm guessing the reference was more to the kids floating like hippos in the pool.

Yeah I agree with you that Crocs Bits and Bites is just about completely useless. I wish they had something of the caliber of Whitewater Snacks by the Neverland Pool.

Too bad that DLH has the best pool but GCH has the best casual dining.

"If you listen quietly you can hear the baby hippos of the jungle calling out for their mothers.... 'HEY MA!!"

Thanks, scuba. The mental image of kids floating like the hippos wiggling their ears and blowing bubbles is quite funny.
