  • [Review] super 8 on disneyland drive...

Well mice people i just got back from a 2 day trip at the happiest place on earth. First of all disneyland was a ghost town all day, so that was a major plus, all rides were walk ons or were less then 10 mins. Now lets talk about the motel, for 53.10 a night i can say that you won't get a better room. The room was nice and clean, and the morning breakfast was good as well, they had donuts, fruit loops, toast, juice and more. The walk to disneyland was less then 20 mins, and the staff was very nice and helpful. The only down side is the fireworks are close to you, but since you will be at the park when they are going off so it's no big deal. All around for the price and distance to disneyland i give this motel an 8 out of 10.

I stayed there last summer for 3 days and was content with service, cleanliness, and ammenities. We had a microwave and a fridge at no extra cost (unlike some of the fancier joints). When we showed up, we had no idea that we could purchase our tickets there instead of the park! Awesome! Staying at DLR or good neighbor hotels comes in handy when you want to skip that darn ticket line! Our window was facing the street and we could see all the people walking to DL in the morning...it was quite a sight. Almost a pilgrimage! Sipping freebie coffee and looking at the stream of people was pretty cool; it got me in the mood for what was to come. This motel is pretty nice for the price tag.
