Has anyone stayed here? I found a good deal, but I want to know if it would be worth it to pay a little more for a nicer hotel if this one isn't too swell. Any opinions would be great!! Thanks!

As far as the Jolly Roger if you are traveling with a small family of 3 maybe 4 meaning kids at a very young age it is alright, but I know they made some upgrades and what I hear it is much better now. But go to www.tripadvisor.com type in Jolly Roger Anaheim and look at the Reviews. Also make sure you ask for the full amount of the cost I had a big surprise on my bill when I left Anaheim Resort Fee). One more thing try Priceline learn from How to use Priceline Forum I have been using it for a while, you will always get a good 3 to 3 1/2 star Hotel for a very low price, (good Luck).

Hi! I just joined MiceChat today and I am happy to be of use here! I just came back from an eight night stay at the Jolly Roger while I was in town for the Expo. There are four inside rooms in the hotel, located above the lobby area, the rest are outside rooms. All I can say is, I had an inside room, and it was very large and very clean. I got it at a great price and I was very happy with it. It was the largest hotel room I have ever been in, and I liked that fact that it was an inside room. I would recommend that you ask for an inside one. The staff were very pleasant. And for a budget hotel, the pool area was very nice. I got my price based on what it was being offered for on Orbitz. I found that Orbitz offers the best price on this hotel, but if you call the hotel's 800 number, they will give you the same price as Orbitz. There is a $6 per night charge on top of the nightly rate, plus the hotel tax. I booked directly with the hotel, that way I didn't have to pay in full as you do with Orbitz. In short, I highly recommend this hotel - I have stayed there twice this past year. I hear that the outside rooms are very nice also. They do not offer continetal breakfast, but there is 7/11 across the street where you can pick up things. Hope this helps.

I stayed there during the expo as well. It was clean, serviceable and the staff was pleasant. No frills (no mini frig for instance) but I was only there to sleep!
