I love this place. I had my first experience when I was stationed in Arizona and went all the time after that. Well anyways, I have been waiting for them to open one in the OC. I was just home on leave in October and driving down to a sandwich place in Buena Park and saw it in some shopping center. I love all the sauces they have. My favorite two are the parmesian garlic and the Mango Habenero. I used to love going to hooters for wings, but this place tops it all!

Re: Buffalo Wild Wings
I go to the one in Burbank every tuesday for 50cent wing day. Mango Habanero definitely is my favorite sauce.
I've done the "Blazin'" sauce twice now, which is their hottest sauce, I think I'm good for the rest of my life now. Don't like to endure that kind of pain in my mouth. That's what she said.

Re: Buffalo Wild Wings
BWW is one of my all-time favorite restaurants!
Mango Habanero is definitely THE best sauce there. it's rare that i've found a sauce that is HOT but still has good TASTE.
have you guys tried the new Dry Rub they have? it's not on the menu and is only here for a short timeas a promo, but it's called Desert Heat. it's actually pretty good.. but not very hot.. so the spicy lovers out there might be disappointed.
also, try their fries with Queso Sauce.. beats the hell out of the cheddar/spread-like cheese they put on them.-plagued

Re: Buffalo Wild Wings
Do they seriously do the Blazin Challenge in Cali... the locations here in Arizona dont do the Blazin challenge anymore because they had people puke at the table and upchuck in the restroom and as a result it came to be too much of a hassle for them to do as far as clean up.... but then again... I want to take the Blazin challenge as all my friends have done it when visiting friends at NAU and I am the only one who has notyet done it or passed it [apparently the one in Flagstaff still does it, but Flagstaff is like 130 miles from Phoenix]... My friends kinda suggested ordering 12 Blazin wings for the hell of it and they will just time me on eating them with the stopwatch, but its seriously not the same as the server giving you weird looks when you ask to do it, asking you if you know what your getting yourself into, and then timing you on it!
Blazin wings are awesome but they have a habit of wreaking havoc on my stomach the next morning... Its like the hot wing that you can feel coursing through your insides and it feels like you just ate something with an industrial grade chemical in it! Blazin sauce is not for the faint of heart and while I usually can eat the hottest wings anywhere I go, these things do put up a bit of a fight but overall are not too bad!
But Mango Habanero is the best sauce for flavor, but I also love the Carribean Jerk, Asian Zing, and Parmesean Garlic. Whats really nice is buying a bottle of their sauce to take home and then going to Fry's to get a bag of chicken wings and then making your own wings in the deep fryer and then mixing in their wing sauces... Its always good for whenever you cant make it into the restaurant or just have people coming over to watch a True Blood marathon!Add me... I dont bite LOL!

My friends who grew up with the original location didn't like the dry rub. They said it tasted weird. I'll have to sample it myself. I'm going tomorrow.

i've gotten it many times since i'm trying to take advantage of the fact that it's a limited time offer, and it's been a hit or miss. sometimes you'll get a batch that is heavily seasoned and you get a good taste of flavor. other times it'll seem like they just took a pinch of the seasoning and sprinkled it on all your wings leaving you with an almost plain batch of wings.
since it IS a dry rub rather than a sauce, your wings will be a bit crispier than you're used to since it has no sauce to get the skin/batter soggy. but if you like a subtle seasoned flavor, i think you can enjoy Desert Heat to its fullest-plagued

Re: Buffalo Wild Wings
Although aside from the wings, I totally love their southwest dippers and loaded nachos during Happy Hour... its like nice to have them half price and paired with 12 wings... Although I have come to the conclusion that Blazin wings are only for when I want to prove something to someone... Or whenever I want to watch my straight friends cry tears of pain and lose their machoness while I sit there and eat the wings with no problem!
Although I second whoever mentioned about not going during a football game of any sort... Seriously, it was like walking into a Frat House and having a long wait to get in... Not to mention the amounts of loud grunting I heard was a bit out of too macho for me... Well especially since we were sitting smack in the middle and under one of the 52 inch screens that was playing the game... It was like OMG! But they did have Beer specials on Bud Light that night so yay for that... I dont drink beer but I will partake in Bud Light if its on special.
Anyone else play Texas Holdem or the Trivia on those things they bring to your table? My sister has a knack for getting me into joining that Texas Holdem game and I always love watching her beat people at it... Texas Holdem is way too advanced for me... but my friends and I had one Trivia game going that sparked up some interesting conversation!
If anyone cant tell, I am a huge fan of Buffalo Wild Wings, but its kinda sad, my closest location is on the Scottsdale/Phoenix border at the Loop 101 and Scottsdale road by the Harkins Cine Capri... I wish they would open one up the street at Norterra... but as an uneven trade off, Norterra at least has a Johhny Rockets.Add me... I dont bite LOL!

Re: Buffalo Wild Wings
i have a BWW less than 7 miles from my house, with another opening within 12 miles...
was anyone fortunate enough to try the Cheeseburger Dippers before they yanked it off their menus?? those things were great! it's pretty much ground beef and cheese rolled up into a little ball, dipped into the batter that you would find on say, mozzerella sticks, but with sesame seeds infused.. and then deep fried. those were actually the first things i tried at BWW and got me to try all the things i now love there.. i miss those things like no other.
the cheeseburger dippers, bring them back BWW!:

Re: Buffalo Wild Wings
ugh... thats one thing I hate... their standard menu is good but every now and then they unroll some promotional flavor or item only available for a certain season and then its off the menu for good! Its like what Carls Jr. does... and its sad because once its good you come to love it and then they yank it off the menu!Add me... I dont bite LOL!

Re: Buffalo Wild Wings
Buffalo Wild Wings is one of the best
food establishments.
After sampling all of the sauces, my
absolute favorite is "Wild".
It's a great place with amazing food and service.
And so fortunate to live near locations
that are each less then ten minutes away.

Amazing food service is a hit or miss. I have had my share of misses, but the manager made sure that i went home with a huge discount. Since then, they've been more hits.

Re: Buffalo Wild Wings
Just got back from my weekly BW3 lunch. The wedges and buffalo chips w/ cheese came out really old... like they were sitting under the lamp too long. We told our waitress and she apologized and said she'll bring new ones.
When the new ones came, she said they were taken off the bill. Now that's service I appreciate!
Today I had mango habanero and spicy garlic sauces.
