So I'm planing on taking my family to Disneyland for the holiday celebrations. My family hasn't gone to Disneyland in over 10 years. I want to make the trip a good one by doing as much as possible. So what day do you guys think would be the best to go on, Monday 28 or Tuesday 29? Or is there even any point in asking since both day might be super packed? Let me know!

I think both days are going to be equally bad. A lot of schools have that week off and guaranteed that a lot of families plan a vacation around that time. I don't think APs are going to be a problem since I think everyone is blocked out that week except for Premium. I think you are just going to have to contend with a lot of tourists then.

Well, that week is always bad, even though most AP's sold are blocked.
However, this past summer, with similar blocked dates, had lighter than expected days.
In the past, the crowds have forced the fire marshals to close the park to APs, to new guests, and to returning guests (I think that is the order) for safety reasons.
I do not expect this to happen this year. It will be close to that point, but the entrances will not close.
This year is an exception, due to the economy. Not sure how many visitors there will be to SoCal for the holidays, and of them, how many can, or want to, pay to go to Disneyland. It might be skipped until next year.
You can expect the Ohioans and Oregonians to show up, but there are only 95000 max combined of them, and they all won't show up on the same day.
One of those days might have one of the Rose Bowl teams there. Sometimes they get to be in the parade. In past years they were relegated to DCA.
Ah: on 12/29 TOSU Marching Band will be at Disneyland. Says so right here:

Also: 12/30 is when another TOSU Alumni group will be there, and it says so here.
It's optional, and it's competing with an optional Universal trip.Comment
