RI also allows pets and permits you to leave them in your room while you're out and about. So long as you crate them, of course. Many hotels do allow pets but do not permit you to leave them in your room.
I agree.. Great hotel... ditto for the Staybridge (which is usually cheaper). Bonus with the RI is it is walking distance, although most people don't realize it.
I have stayed there several times myself. Once, when my son was one and half years old - and we ran out of milk. They brought us a gallon jug at 2 in the morning!!! Love them!
So we spent a number of years staying at the Disneyland Hotel in the early nineties. It finally dawned on us that we could vacation for twice as long if we stayed at the Residence Inn Maingate - and we fell in love! For 12 years we stayed there every summer - for two to three weeks at a time, using it as home base while we raced around SoCal, and thought of Disneyland as our "hometown." There is some kind of managerial magic going on here, because the Residence Inn staff is happy, polished, consistent and wonderful. They remember us and our children (who are now prety much all grown up) and always greet us with happy hugs and welcomes. They make it so special and take care of everything! It's the best deal in town, considering the big rooms, kitchens, fireplaces, free wireless, free parking and incredible (free) breakfasts. Now we live locally and STILL find every excuse we can to go stay for a night or two (or five or...). If you aren't sure where to stay, trust us, stay there! Have fun! Patti and Dennis
