  • [Question] LGB to hotel options

I chose to fly the family (6) into Long Beach this trip rather than SNA because it was about 40% less than SNA. The distance on the map did not seem so far but I know can be deceptive because of traffic patterns. How long does this trip normally take? What is the best and least costly transportation option: Shuttle or Taxi? Are there taxis that can take 6 comfortably?

I would get a taxi, it is 14 miles from Long Beach Airport to Disneyland, and going from the airport to Anaheim Resort Area, there is a fixed rate of $45 plus tax, and they do have Taxi "Vans" that can handle 6.

City of Long Beach, CA - Shuttles & Limos

As for the way back, it is close to $50... (no fixed rate, only the meter)

One big tip, if the taxi driver suggests the freeway, just say NO!, that can add at least $20 to the fare.

A trip will take about 30 minutes.

You are going to LOVE flying into Long Beach. Taxis are readily available. I've never taken a shuttle, but I'm sure they're right there at the ready also. Love that airport.
Just countin' the days til the next visit!
