Anaheim Garden Walk - how far & how to get there?

OK, this may be a stupid question, but exactly how long of a walk is it from DLR to the Anaheim Garden Walk? And exactly how do I get there on foot?

I've done some searching and it seems like a very long walk out of the park, along Harbor Blvd. then Katella to get there.

Super short walk! Maybe 5-10 minutes tops.

You want to head south on Harbor Blvd (if you're at Disneyland, towards California Adventure) towards Katella.

Left onto Disney Way. This is the street where Pumbaa Parking and Gardenwalk parking is found. You'll see the big Gardenwalk building and that's where you go. Easy!


(basically, Garden Walk is in the same latitude as DCA, so it's like walking from Main Street to the back of Paradise Pier.. but further East)

Yeah, its a short walk. Unless you are really out of shape, or old, I am sure that you won't have a problem walking there. Like Coheteboy says, I think it was between 5 and ten minute walk to get there.

If the Pumbaa lot is open, you could take the bus to the Pumbaa lot and then just walk across Disney Way and directly into Gardenwalk from there. That would cut down on the walking if you aren't in the mood. But the walk really isn't that bad.

It does depend a bit on where you are going at GardenWalk and how beat up your feet are by the time you walk over there.

I walked from Tomorrowland to GardenWalk to meet some friends at Cheesecake Factory for dinner last month. That's when I learned that this restaurant is at the extreme south-east corner of GardenWalk. Walking over there with feet that felt like raw ground-beef was much tougher than I had guessed.

If I had it to do over again I would probably take a cab at least one-way.

We took the long way....Harbor to Katella and down to garden walk. It wasn't a bad walk at all. We actually usually eat there on our trips.
