  • Trip Report Dinner and a Show - Ariel's Grotto

My wonderful cousin and her fabulous husband took me to Ariel's Grotto for the World of Color "dinner and a show." It was amazing (both the show and the food)!

Here is the "Prix Fixe" menu:

Here is the vegetable and cheese appetizer (Antipasti):

Here is my herb-crusted chicken dinner, my cousin's tri-tip and her husband's pasta dish:

    Finally, dessert!!

    My cousin got Sorbet:

    Highly recommended!!

I am glad your dinner was good. I have been to the "Grotto" for a character lunch with the Grand Kids. Food was average, the Princesses gave the impression they wish they were elsewhere. When you want a character meal I have found Goofy's Kitchen to be outstanding on many occasions.

We did the WOC dinner at Ariel's Grotto which was a major disappointment. My wife had the chicken which was extremely salty as was the potatoes. I had the Tri Tip which was very fatty and way over done as in the edges were dry. I heard other tables complain about the same things.

Have had great dining experiences at other Disney venues, Ariel's, NEVER AGAIN.

i've heard mixed reviews of the dinners at the Grotto, but i'm glad yours was one of the good ones! it really seems like a hit or miss here.

are those WoC filmstrips edible? looks like white chocolate, and i love white chocolate!

We had a wonderful meal there, so it sounds hit or miss.

We were sent over there with the message that only we would defend Disney quality.. We learnt quickly that the Japanese culture speaks to a level of quality that is hard to comprehend. They were all unbelievably skilled and willing to do the right thing.
