  • [Question] Best view for World of Color, Picnic or Restaurant?

We plan to be at Disneyland November 21st and 22nd. We have the choice of doing the picnic or one of the restaurants for getting pre-seating for World of Color. Which is better, if any?

    Thanks.

Hi. Don't know if you got your answer, but since your post has gone unanswered...

At "face value," a WOC dining package at Wine Country Trattoria or Ariel's Grotto will get your party exclusive "preferred seating" fast passes - entry into a reserved section for the first WOC showing of the evening.

The picnic (considerably less $$$ than the table service meals) also include fast passes with each order, but not for the "preferred" section.

This awesome thread has a map of the WOC color sections:

    http://micechat.com/forums/disneylan...rld-color.html

Everyone has their own favorite spot to view the show. For the best "seat" (in reality, it's standing room only) line up before the time listed on your fast passes. Considering the dates you gave for your trip and the fact that it's before the Thanksgiving holiday, you may or may not run into crowds - specifically, locals using their annual passes before getting blocked out for Thnxgiving.

Plenty of folks have reviewed all the meal options, so the "best" food option is really a matter of opinion. You're probably able to call Disney dining now to make a seating reservation for either prix fixe WOC package. The picnics are available for pre-purchase up to 30 days in advance.

Hope that helps you make a decision. Have a great trip!

The picnic meals simply get you a fastpass to either the yellow or blue sections. and you go into the viewing area with all of the other yellow and blue fastpasses. so any picture of a view from yellow or blue would suffice to show what a picninc meal view is like.
