  • [Review] Holiday Inn Anaheim Resort

Our family just returned from a 5-day trip to Disneyland, and stayed at the Holiday Inn Anaheim Resort on Manchester. Overall, we were really happy with this hotel. It's probably one of the nicest Holiday Inns that we've ever stayed at. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the bedding seems to recently have been updated as they now use all white blankets/bedspreads. The mattresses were rather comfortable also. Our room overlooked the pool, and we also had views of the fireworks at night--although they were quite a bit off in the distance. Here's a look at a previous review. It looks just like the room we stayed in (with the exception of the bedding).

We really liked the restaurant, too. The food was good with reasonable prices, quick service and we never had to wait for a table. Kids meals are free with an adult entree purchase. The ART shuttle picked up/dropped off right outside the restaurant. The only complaint was the vending & laundry. The ice machines on various floors were usually empty. And when we did a load of laundry, the clothes were not even remotely dry after 2 cycles in the dryer on high heat. We ended up having to spread them out on the bed and leave them to dry while we went to the park.

The pool was great...nice and big, and a warm jacuzzi! It was cute that both were shaped like a Mickey head.

We would definitely recommend this location, and we'd love to stay here again if we get the chance
