  • Chase VISA Disney Redemption Card

I haven't ordered my rewards card yet and need to before my December trip. How long do the rewards stay active before they expire? The website says the card has an expiration date but it doesn't say how long one is given before the points must be used. I'd like to use the points towards the tickets or the season pass.

They do expire but not sure how long after. I believe it is a year. You could order it now or about 3 weeks prior to your trip. Don't forget to get your free photo in DCA with your Disney Chase Visa Card!

Thanks everyone. I ordered it sort of late so I hope the card arrives by Wednesday. If not, I was told I can go to guest relations and they will cancel it and give me a new card there. Yay! We're using it to get one free 3 day hopper pass. Its amazing how many points add up when you're planning a wedding.

Re: Chase VISA Disney Redemption Card

Based on my experience, the card expires in December of the following year. If you don't use it at the parks, you can always use it at the online Disney store.

Unused points (reward dollars) will eventually expire about 5 years after they are earned. Check your monthly statement. Once transferred to a card, they expire with the card.
