  • [Question] Suite or Room for 7?

I have never before stayed near Disneyland because my parents have lived close by and we would stay with them. But now that they have moved, we are looking for some hotel ideas.

The issue is, we have 5 kids, so we need a hotel with a room or suite that allows 7 guests. We can do it by renting two "normal" rooms, but we rather have one large room.

So, which Good Neighbor hotels have rooms for 7 or more?

    Thanks

There are a lot of options.

What do you need beside room for 7?
    Close, nice,cheap,breakfast......?

I knew you would reply, Swampymarsh

      Here's the order,

Cheap. Close (but bus close is ok), breakfast.
      However, don't want too scummy...

Biggest issue for us is price.

Desert Inn and Suites which is almost across the street. It's decent, breakfast is basic. Pool is indoors which is nice when it's winter, not great the rest of the year.

Carousel Inn and Suites which also is almost across the street. Cost more but is kind of nice, basic breakfast The thing here is for 7 you need thier connecting rooms. (Connecting rooms aren't common really close to the park).

A lot of pople like the Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate. It's on the other side of Garden Walk. So a long walk or ART shuttle away. The price is not great, but kitchen may be helpful if you want to make your own meals. It does also have a hot breakfast.

My choice would be the Homewood Suites. It's a ways south on Harbor. Very good all around, for a good price too. The tradeoff is no short walk you need to use Anaheim Resort Transport or OCTA the municipal bus. The rooms are two beds, couch and roll away beds.

You can find more connecting rooms in the convetion hotels down Harbor.

The problem with staying further away is, it's harder to do midday breaks. Though depending on when you go the hours may be short and breaks aren't needed.

Thanks for the tips. I grew up about 20-30 minutes from DL, so I have never stayed at hotel there. I have always wanted to do that. Now that my folks have moved, we have the excuse to do it.

if the rooms are connected, that would be ok. I was worried we would to take two rooms near or next to each, but there wouldn't be connected. It would be great if the rooms were connected.
