  • Re: Tropicana Vs. Carousel Inn

Ok quick question. we are planning our Disneyland vacation, and we usually stay at the Tropacana. I love the price and location. My poor abused and long suffering son of 14 years old. Has told me we can not stay at that Hotel again do to the sever strain on his back, and is trying to convince me to reserve a room at the Carosoul inn because the beds he has heard are so much better, and is willing to sacrafice for a little longer walk. I was wondering out, there if any one has any reviews on the carosaul inn, and is it weorth the bigger expense?

The Carousel is one of our newest partner motels, and you can get MiceChat discounts there.

    http://micechat.com/forums/so-cal-ho...-approved.html

You need to call the Carousel directly, and the room rate is not available on all rooms, every day of the year. But give them a call and check.

I've never actually stayed there myself, but its really not a lot farther of a walk than the Tropicana.

Ya they do. Filled us up pretty good. Its on top floor good view of park in morning. Nice workers there too. There is a valet fee tho, didnt really like that bt overall good experiance. Never been to tropicana bt had fam that has they liked it to. I think any of those hotel across the street are good cause of location we dont really stay in rooms only to rest up

The Tropcana the last three timer s we went that is the place we stayed. It isn't a bad place the beds are a bit hard but the price is what i liked, and when i go to DLR I go for the parks and Downtown. My kid wanted softer beds and like the roof pool so I was thinking might be Ok. Thanks for responmding about the continetal breakfast too. Dave

I love Carousel Inn. Their beds are wonderful!! It is definitely my first choice of hotels but it has been too expensive lately. I won't stay at Tropicanna because the beds are so hard. Their rooms also seem small, at least the ones we've stayed in.

No TTFN92 agree for me the tropacana is price and location. I decided to reserve a room at the carsoul and went with the more expensive consejoure instead of the regular and got it for $519.00, bit kind of wondering if I should have taken the standard at 425.00. Thabks to mentioning miceage I got a good deal, but wondering if I should have taken the standard. ANy opionions on the standard room there? We are planning on going in Nov, so I still have time to change. I would highly recommend mentioning Miceage when staying there you save somme $$$!
