  • [Question] How often do you have to show ID if you have a "resident" ticket and other ?s

My husband has lots of friends in Orange County (he grew up there), but we now live in WA... if one of his friends was to pick up "resident" tickets at the ticket booth and show ID, would we need to show ID again at the gate and on subsequent days? There are a couple of folks who would be willing to come for a day, but we want to go 3 days, during the week and I know they wouldn't be able to take off work. Just wondering if we could get "carded" after they tickets were "activated"...

Or do we need to buy non-resident tickets and the friend just get their own?

Not a resident...but last year when we went my aunt said she'd buy us the tickets. We called disney directly and asked the question- we called 2 different times and they said that they do not prevent residents from giving them as gifts- it's just that a resident has to be the one to purchase it.....
I'd call them directly and see if that is still their policy....
