Re: Ayres Hotel any reviews on it?
It's a nice hotel, business oreiented. Much more comfortable than a basic place like the motels on Harbor. Breakfast is good.
The only down side is it's not close. I drive and park at DLR. If you don't have a car you can take ART shuttles. ART can take some time but if you can get to the stops right before it pickups it works fine. If you just miss the shuttle it can be a wait, 30 minutes to be exact.
I'd prefer to stay close, but happily stay at the Ayres with priceline or hotwire prices.Be Cool Stay in School!
Next year I'm trying for a summer internship at Stark Industries.

Re: Ayres Hotel any reviews on it?
Hey there,
The photos of Ayres Inn - Orange I promised are located below. The hotel itself is very nice, the beds are comfy, and the service was pleasant. The bathroom was a tad small, but not too bad. I would have preferred stronger water pressure from the shower, but I managed. The complimentary breakfast was a bit sub-par, but it was free, so I wasn't complaining. I never did get any of the free chocolate chip cookies they boast about, but I was also not getting back to my hotel room until about midnight/1:00AM. I would imagine all of the cookies would be gone by then. During our last full day at the hotel, construction crews began showing up to start demolishing portions of the parking lot and one of the pools to make way for a second tower which is to be constructed and open sometime in 2014. The new tower will house roughly 100 more rooms, as well as a spa.
Here are the photos:

I hope this has helped you in some way and that my review and photos will give you an idea as to how your hotel in Anaheim may look and feel.
Take care,

Re: Ayres Hotel any reviews on it?
When I did this and got Ayres was during Spring 2011. At the time it was 3.5 stars but I believe it now falls under 4 stars. Priceline reset it's classification system and the nicer area hotels changed from 3.5 to 4 stars. If I recall correctly I got in for $55.
You may want to search betterbidding.com for tips on how to priceline the hotel you want and bid for it.
