[Question] Nearby hotels under $200 with 3 beds

Looking for a hotel with 3 beds, under $200/night and that is within a decent walking distance to the parks (my dad has a bad back, so after a day at the park, he won't want to walk a mile back to the hotel, and don't want to pay for the ART).

Looked at a few, but not finding much in general for mid-september time-frame.

    Any suggestions? Thanks!!

that's a tall order with 3 beds and walking distance. You basically need to find a two bedroom suite or timeshare most likely.

Even 2 queens and a sofa/pull-out there seems to be no real option for, other than the Best Western Plus Park place inn mini suites. Camelot is just over our price range and the only other option so far is the Anabella, which has mixed reviews, it seems.

A bunch of the independents have weird rooms that are their suites. Some of these have 3 beds.

If a back is really a problem, rent and ECV. Scooter Village or Deckerts can deliver it to your hotel.

Re: Nearby hotels under $200 with 3 beds

I looked for a possible trip in May. It turns out we will be going later in the year. But I based the below on May prices. All of these are for rooms for 6 people. They are not in walking distance. But here you go anyways:

            Desert Inn & Suites $209
            Comfort Inn Maingate $151
Embassy Suite $169 (two locations - Anaheim South [1 mile to DL] / Anaheim North [6 miles])
Homewood Suites by Hilton Maingate $139
            Double Tree Suites Anaheim $159
            Hampton Inn Anaheim/Garden Grove $149

I don't think any of these are walking distance. I did the research a few months ago. So I have no idea what is still available or the Sept prices. But it may give you a start...

Desert Inn and Suites is across the street from the parks. We stayed there about a year ago and they have 2 queen beds and a pull out couch/bed.

I stay at the Anabella for EVERY trip to Disneyland (except the occasional splurge at GCH). I highly recommend it!

If you book the Anabella, ask for a room close to the check-in desk, or one of the ADA accessible rooms. They're the closest to the entrance, and will save you some walking versus getting a room in one of the back corners. It's a very easy, quiet walk. You cross one major intersection, then it's tree-lined sidewalk until you get to the Grand Californian.

I just booked the Doubletree Anaheim Convention Center, with two queens and a sofa bed for $149 per night. It's not walking distance to the parks, but it's walking distance to the Toy Story lot, it seems, where you can catch the Toy story shuttle for free.

I have stayed there twice and will be back there in September. Not too bad of a walk, and that is even with pushing a double stroller. We get the Mission Suite that has the extra bedroom with a day bed.

The Ramada Anaheim Plaza Hotel has family rooms that have two double beds and a sofa couch. The hotel is located on Katella at Harbor Blvd. I think it is about .5 mile to the entrance of the parks and there is also an ART shuttle stop out front. Good luck!

I always stay at the Anabella, I love it. It has a nice pool with drink service and the restaurant is pretty good. Book a room through their website, or by calling them directly. It's cheaper that way, sometimes by a lot.

The suite I stayed in at the Anabella was great! It was quiet and out of the way. It had t least 2 beds, maybe a pull out too? Not sure what we paid though

Just an update after we stayed at the Doubletree. It was fantastic. We easily walked to the Toy Story lot in the morning, and at night when we were exhausted, my family of four took a cab right to the front door of the hotel for $5-6. Much, much cheaper and more convenient that parking or ART.

We will definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Eden Roc in March and got a 3 bedroom "suite" for $87 a night. While the price was right and there are very few options for 3 bedroom places within walking distance, the hotel was terrible. We knew going in that the hotel was going to be bad so we thought that we had prepared ourselves properly, but it was even worse than we could have imagined. This truly is just a place to rest your head, a creppy, dirty, old place.

If you need 3 beds and are needing the cheapest option go for it, but I would suggest paying the extra money to stay somewhere else.

Also the walk seemed to take a long time, maybe because I had 4 kids 5 and under to drag along with me, but for being right across the street it didn't feel all that close.

We are going in September and staying at the Marriott Residence Inn Maingate which is a little under a mile away. Cost $199.00 a night Advantages: Renting a suite with a separate bedroom that has two queen beds. There is a queen bed in the main area with a pull out sofa bed. Has a full kitchen, a pool AND a kiddie pool. You can also walk a couple of blocks down to Orange Walk which has more restaurants and entertainment. They provide a HOT breakfast buffet, FREE grocery shopping service and have been over the top with their service when I have called numerous times to ask questions. You can also take the A.R.T. (Anaheim Resort Transporation) to Disneyland if you don't want to walk:there is a nominal fee. I have compared notes from others and also decided to stay here because people said the beds were comfortable which is VERY important to us. Enjoy!!

The Fairfield on Harbor Blvd. has 2 beds with an oversized chair that will make into a pull-out sort of twin bed. Does that count as 3?
