UPGRADE

The forums will be upgraded to the latest software version on 9/26/17 at 9:30pm PDT. The upgrade should only take a few minutes. During the upgrade you might experience errors, but they will go away once the upgrade is completed. This is not the upgrade/move we have been discussing for the past few months. This is just normal, minor maintenance. Thank you.

  • [Question] Driving from Palm Desert

My family will be driving from Palm Desert into Anaheim for a single day at Disneyland on Monday, July 8th. The park opens at 8:00 am that morning and we will probably drive straight to our hotel which is right near the Toy Story Parking Lot. My question is am I naive to plan on leaving by 5:30/6 to be at Anaheim by 8? I don't know how much traffic to anticipate for that time of morning. I believe we will be coming in from 91 West/ 57 South.

Any and all advice is welcome! Thank you in advance!

    Re: Driving from Palm Desert

It's about two hours from Palm Desert to Anaheim on a good day, without traffic. Add in the fact that you're going westbound on Rt 60 and 91, then southbound on Rt 57, in rush hour, you're going to run into traffic. If it were me, I'd be on the road at 5 am and allow 3 hours to do the 2 hour (100+ miles) drive. Better to get there way early and grab breakfast at Mikkie D's or similar before parking, IMHO.
