  • [Question] 14 new hotels for Disneyland area?

The tag on the OC Registrar says that the Disneyland area is getting 14 new hotels. But since I am not an OCR subscriber I can read the article.

Any body want to share the article?

    Thank you in advance.

Yes I would like to know as well, I live overseas and come to Anaheim annually but now can't get to read the OC Register online.

      The Orange County Register

You can't read the whole article without being a sub to the paper, but at the bottom on the left is a graphic that at least shows where all the new/expanded hotels are going in and how many rooms they will have.

Well, I searched for this: OC Registrar says that the Disneyland area is getting 14 new hotels in Google. Which led me here: The Orange County Register (currently its the second link on the results page right under this thread)

Here is the image link which seems to load ok: http://images.onset.freedom.com/ocre...heimhotels.gif

Im guessing the reason I could see the link originally is because I searched Google first. I know that sites like nytimes and latimes will also let non-subs read articles if you come to them through Google News.

            Well not a huge surprise.

Many of these are just remodels. Some continuously planned for, but not approved or shovel ready.

Keep in mind that Anaheim only gives permits when the room occupancy is at a certain level. This keep room demand and price in what Anaheim deems an acceptable range. This is why Anaheim does not often get new hotels, and more liberal permiting in Garden Grove lowers the demand and need for Anaheim hotels.

The Modesto Bee took the article and ran with it:
