  • The Smokehouse - Burbank

    http://www.smokehouserestaurant.net/

One of my favorite restaurants is The Smokehouse.

It's right across the street from Warner Brothers Studios, and quite often you'll find a celebrity or 2 having a meal there, particularly in the bar area.

This is yet another old school steakhouse from the 40's. Wood paneling, red vinyl booths, a wait staff that has been there forever. Plus during all holidays, they decorate, which I absolutely LOVE because it's so kitchy!

The food is pretty darn good too!! I love the petite filet, with their famous twice baked potato.

But the one thing you absolutely MUST MUST (I repeat) MUST get, is their garlic chese bread. By far it's some of the best garlic cheese bread I've ever had. In fact when I used to live up the street from it, we'd oftentimes just go get garlic bread for take out when we'd make spaghetti, or just because we craved it. Good stuff Maynard!

So if you happen to be in the Burbank area, swing by The Smokehouse!

Thanks for the tip! I go to the Media City Center quite often and was getting tired of the food around there, next time I'll go give this place a try.

          Thank you for this review!
          Good morning, son
          In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
          It was pain
          Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
