Love it, it is the exact same sheeting as the Heavenly Bed system that the Westin Hotel chain uses.
Awesome! Thanks! I do not, however, see DL from those outdoors photos. ??

This was taken off of the Howard johnson message board- I'm not an employee lol, just a fan. Apparently by the end of the year they will have the simmons mattresses in all the rooms.

We are continuing our 'premium mattress' roll-out over the upcoming year, adding 10 rooms each month. **Our NQQ1's [Premium Disney Rooms] are now equipped with these new Simmons pillow-top mattresses [which are similar to those used in the Westin Heavenly Bed]!**

In addition to our mattress upgrades, we're excited to be rolling out premium linens in all Guest rooms! Rooms will receive upgraded 300 thread count 'triple-sheeting' which includes:
    • Fitted bottom sheet
      Flat sheet
      Fiber-filled comforter
      Tone-on-tone top sheet.

Also, all beds will be outfitted with two new fiber-filled pillows and two of our existing foam/feather combination pillows

I think it is a nice hotel, but I have stayed at the Doubletree and Hyatt, and prefer then MUCH more than any other hotel. I priceline those two hotels, and the beds, thread count, amenities, pools, people, are so nice, it's really hard to compete with. I had nice customer service at HoJos, but the beds were nothing to write home about and it was loud.

My wife and I stayed there a few years ago and were very pleased with the hotel. Try to get a room on the upper 2 floors for a view of the park and a great place to see the fireworks. The rooms are spacious -- keeping in mind that for a Disneyland vacation, you need space only to shower, sleep and change clothes before heading back to the park. It's a bit of a walk to the main gate, but you pass a few eateries along the way; good places to stop and grab a quick breakfast before the park opens. All in all it's a great value for the area with a helpful, friendly staff.

    Thanks!!!
The room was in a building way in the back by a garden pool. The garden pool by the way was closed for renovations (this was in Feb). They will be reopening the garden pool and then renovating the main pool area this year. Not sure of the dates of the renovation but the whole main pool area will be closed.

The room looked clean, not super or sparkling clean.

We stayed there, had a corner room, and you could totally here all the freeway noise. Also, I didn't care for the fact that they said they had car break-ins in the parking lot, made me a little nervous. We prefer either the Tropicana, The Carousel, or The Desert Inn and Suites. Closer, and all are very clean.

    I am a BIG fan of HoJo's....

FYI, they have even sent up their own Boards to discuss the hotel...

    http://www.hojoanaheim.com/phpbb/

Nothing to compete with MiceChat, but basically Hotel questions and a few travel tips.

The entire staff is great, and is my choice of where to stay if we need a room near the park.

I have stayed there 3 times. The rooms are clean, and you can get a good price if you barter before you make your reservation.

I have concluded after roughly 10 months of exhaustive research that this is the best deal to be had in Disneyland. For us anyway ;-) Having a fridge, a big jacuzzi that is open 'till midnight, and close enough to walk easily were all big plusses. they also have conistently good feedback and are #4 out of 100 on Trip advisor, #24 on the top 30 best bargains in the Unofficial Guide. There's also free parking and internet. It would have been fun to watch Hotwire and perhaps ultimately bid on Priceline but cannot justify that when this deal is for grabs.
