Anyone familier with the Quality Inn?

Hi, I found this site after visiting another Disney site that was tilted much more towards WDW.....and am hoping to cash in on your west coast knowledge.

My daughter and I will be going to Disneyland on the 9/10 of December for her birthday. Has anyone had any experience and/or luck with the Quality Inn on Manchester??? I'd appreaciate any advice you can share. Is it really within walking distance, i.e. less than 15 min.???

It looks nice from the outside, but have seen some reviews that aren't that great. I would try priceline if you are daring. I just stayed at the Anaheim Hilton for $50 a nite and it was fine! (about 68 with tax)

I've never tried priceline, but for results like that it might be worth it.
I'm not familier with the location of the Hilton thought, is it within walking distance?? (15min is about my limit)

Yes, it was very convienent to walk. I actually drove back with friends and 2 of the others in our group walked back and they arrived at the front at the sametime we did! It is also good because the Lion king parking lot is across the street and there is a path to walk and you can take the tram to and from instead of using ART or walking all the way.
It is hit or miss with priceline in regards to having a hotel within walking distance. As long as you stay at 3*'s, you should be fine. There is a how to use priceline guide here on mice chat. And also check out http://www.biddingfortravel.com for tips and to see what others are getting at the sametime you are wanting a room.

I stayed at the Quality Inn last year around this time, I liked it. The rooms were clean and updated, it does have a microwave and refrigerator in it and came with a continental breakfast. It was a little bit of a walk to the park, but that was not too bad. AND I got it for $39 a night, so that really helped too

We are staying there Dec. 2-6 on points. I was a little worried at first, but it looks ok... especially since it will be FREE!!!! Can't beat that with a stick.

NYE....getting it for $103.00 and just booked tonight, so hope it's nice and a fairly easy walk.
