I stayed there. I liked it. It's very close to the crosswalk. the room was not huge (I got the same room twice), but comfortable. I have no complaints with this hotel. I would stay there again.

SCUBAbe thanks for the info, we are getting the two queen room with a kitchen as we have a big party and looks like it will fill our needs well.

The local middle school (8th grade) choir and band goes to Disneyland for Magic Music days pretty much every year and they always book the Tropicana. The kid's room was a decent size and they all seemed to be comfortable. It was a lot nicer than the Ramada Ltd we stayed at. lol

It's nice, I've stayed there a few times. Nothing amazing, the rooms are 'decent' sized and comfortable. I'd stay there again =]

It has been a few years since I stayed there last. I think it is a decent hotel. The rooms were nice, location is great. I remember them having an ok continental breakfast.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

I've stayed there twice. It's clean and basic. No problems. When I checked in the second time they gave me a smoking room, that literally smelled like someone had just finished a cigarette, they moved me asap with no issue. It's the second closest hotel to the crosswalk on Harbor too, great location!

It's my favorite on Harbor Boulevard. It's very clean, new, and close.

My husband and I stayed at the Tropicana on our anniversary trip last march and liked it so much we're staying there again with the kids for our family trip this April. Clean, comfortable and you can't beat the walk!

                          Re: Tropicana inn Anaheim

We've stayed there twice now...once in 2003 pre-remodel, and again last November. This time w/ my mother in law, my brother and his family, and one of my friends and her family. 5 kids total. Was very clean, quiet, and being SoCal, the kids enjoyed the pool while we hung out. Prices are very reasonable. My friend is used to staying at the Grand Californian, and while this wasn't the GC.....they liked it and would stay there again. (The GC is awefully over priced considering how little we're all in the rooms).

The continental breakfast is okay - but hey - unless you're wanting Mickey Mouse pancakes, why eat in the park? It's a 5 minute walk to Main Gate, there is an Ihop (which wasn't in the greatest shape on our last trip) to the left as you walk out, a Denny's a bit further down, and to the right, a McDonald's and a Mimi's Cafe. Mimi's always has great food, reasonable prices, and free refills on milk! (and it's icy cold milk too....)
Counting the minutes to our next trip!
