  • Anabella, will this room work?

Based on many recomendations here at Micechat , I booked at the Anabella for late June. We were wondering if the "Queen, sofa sleeper & Day Bed Room" would be sufficient for the wife and I with our two girls, ages 14 and 8. It's all they had left, so it'll have to do, but has anyone stayed in one of these?

Also, does Disney open the gate to the Timon Parking Lot the whole summer? I think I read where you can access the Timon tram from the Anabella this way.

    Cheers

It should be great - just remember that Queen usually means double. We have 4 of us, and My husband usually gets a bed, I sleep with my 7 year old and the other son gets the day bed.

I think the Anabella queens are REAL queens - I know in our suite there was more than enough room for us two!
      Good morning, son
      In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
      It was pain
      Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Thanks for the input. Hopefully, I will be so beat from 12 hours a D-Land that I won't care which bed I get.

I've been considering the Anabella for our October trip. It sounds really nice. Does anyone know if you get a comp. breakfast with the kid suite? And what do you get with the breakfast? I'm juggling between Desert Palms and the Anabella, only because The Desert Palms has a full free breakfast. Also, mentioned by the thread starter, is the south gate always open for access to hitch a ride on the Lion King parking lot tram?

The web site says that there is a Complimentary Continental Breakfast. My wife and I are going to stay ther for the first time in late September. I would be very interested in knowing if we can catch the tram thrugh the South gate.

I've stayed at the Anabella a couple of times, and it's definitely on the list of my favorite off-property hotels. For the moment it's pretty easy to catch one of the Lion King trams. Walk east on Katella until you get to the crosswalk in front of the Convention Center, then walk across Katella and through the gate you'll see on the north side of the road. You're now in the Timon parking lot. Just follow the walkway through the lot, along side California Adventure and wait for a tram. Of coarse you won't be able to do this once they start demoing the Timon lot for Carsland, but I'm not sure when that will start.
