  • Memories from Disneyland 1992

    After seeing the panoramic pictures from 1992(1993 I think), I searched my archives for my own pictures... and I found ... videos (a friend took the pictures).
    Transfering VHS-C to digital age MPEG4 is not an easy task, batteries from the camcorder were dead, power cable was lost and as I run on Linux, capture card was not a solution , Video Transfer from Pinnacle was : the video source on one side and an USB key on the other ....
    So I've now uploaded them in 4 parts and it starts here :

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccgQ8XJ4P4Q"]YouTube - Disneyland 1992 (Part 1)[/ame]

    the next 3 parts are in the 'Other videos from...'

    Enjoy the skyway, World According To Goofy and Main Street Electrical Parade ....

    Nice. Always a treat to go back in time like that.

        It's amazing to see what the park was like when I was born!

        I applaud you for taking the effort to share this footage with us!

                  OMG this took me back thanks so much for posting it. This was about the last time I went to Disneyland for my honey moon with my first wife. Look at all the things going that are in Yesterland now. The People Mover, The Sky Way, Mission to Mars, The original murals, Captain Eo, and that is just in Tomorrow land. Having grown up in Anaheim it will be a very fun and sad day when I am able to finally return and see Disneyland again.

                    I was not quite 8 years old in 1992 when I first visited Disneyland... Tomorrowland will never again be like I remembered it that first time. I miss the original sub ride, Skyway, and peoplemover.
