  • October 4, 2011: Walt Disney World Celebrates 40 Years

I was at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World for the 40th anniversary of the park's opening on October 1, 1971?

Well, I am glad that Walt Disney World didn't ignore the Magic Kingdom's (and the resort's) Fortieth Anniversary. I am bit curious as to what other Anniversary Music they used, besides the 15th and 25th songs, (did they use the 10th anniversary song too?)

Thanks, Weiss. You mentioned the MSEP, and now that theme song is rattling around inside my head.

There should be a sticky thread called "This Day in Disney History." The company has a long history and this would be a good way to acknowledge it. Walt was born 112 years ago; that's quite a chunk of American history and culture.
