There were a handful of rides which experimented with loops in the 20s and there was also Son of Beast at King Island in Ohio which opened in 2000 which featured a loop.

Another thing worth mentioning or not, but the old Mickey head had gold triangles in it and it sort of reminds me of the old Westcot project.

I think the gold triangles were part of the reason that the mouse head silhouette suggested the 1990s. I had not made the connection to the WESTCOT project. That's a good observation.
