Paris has the Eiffel Tower. Seattle has the Space Needle. And Clermont, Florida has the Citrus Tower. Sure, the Citrus Tower is less famous than the other two—but it’s also much less crowded.
If indeed you do go back to Clermont next year make sure to check out the Lake Minneola Tiki Bar. Its an amazing piece of old Florida and the burgers are amazing.
In my opinion, the US needs to get stricter on what is allowed to be built considering our naturalistic landscape is getting smaller and smaller. Natural land needs to be preserved and anything that does get built should have high aesthetic value.
So upset to see the groves replaced by a Friendly's.
