Does anyone have any memories of what the original Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was like? I saw some pictures of a conductor, a policeman, Ratty, and the old entrence to Hell from it and it got me curious.

Seems to me the photos of Ratty were for the WDW version. Widen Your World has photos from that version.

E ticket magazine has some great picutres. I don't remember which issue it was. It was either the haunted mansion, indy, or pirates one. They printed re-issues of eticket magazine from the 1990's for the Walt Disney Family History Museum and are selling them. Thats where I saw the magazines and the pics for the orginal toad. This was a DisneyLand magazine, not disney world.

This Rat looked differente than the one that opens the door in Disney World's. It was against a brick wall and looked a little less like Ratty, but you can tell it is him. You can see it at the blog Long Forgotten on the page Claude Coats: The Art of Deception and the Deception of Art.

I believe the "E" Ticket Magazine issue you are referring to is Issue # 20, Winter 1994-95. You possibly might still be able to get your hands on one of these vintage items through eBay.

Did you go to court and prison at all? From what I've seen, you enter the train tunnel from a cliff area, and the Demon Judge was not in the Hell scene (the word WELCOME, spelled in letter made of fire, was in it's place.)
