Re: Yesterland is your land - Here age relives fond memories of the past
I am a huge fan of Yesterland.com!
I am so glad to see that Yesterland is now partnered with MiceAge/MiceChat. It is the site that lead me to a great group of Disney Geeks. It also helped me stay in touch with Disneyland when I lived in Colorado.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

I totally love the history/past of Disneyland, especially the stuff that I never had a chance to see, to see how the park has evolved over time is great. Yesterland is such a great site!

Will there be a way for people to submit pictures for Yesterland to Werner Weiss? I would love to go back and scan some of my old Disneyland photos to send in to him.

FYI Folks - Werner has kindly offered to Moderate this section of the site. I'm sure he would be happy to address any questions that you may have about Yesterland. This is a real privilege for all of us and we are so pleased to have Werner on the team!
Re: Yesterland is your land - Here age relives fond memories of the past
This is a wonderful forum. I have been around to see most of Disneyland's 51 years, and worked there through eight of them.
I have loved Yesterland for years, and I consider the site to be a must-see for Disney fans.
Werner, welcome to MiceChat. You might recall that I did a radio commentary some years back called "What Barry Thinks" in Ventura, and did a piece on your site one day.
I do have some questions, but I'll save them until you get your chance to get your feet wet around here.

Question #1 for Werner:
Is that pronounced "Werner" or "Verner"?
Question #2:
Is it possible to add photos of "What's left of it"? Easy one is the Fantasyland Skyway terminus, probably already a picture of that. The other day, though, someone was asking for a photo of the foundation of the House of the Future, now decorated with a statue of King Triton, I believe.
Leave it to sediment to go "post mortem" on all of us...
That's me!
Also, a list of Imagineer homages to previous attractions would be nice, too.
For example, King Triton statue? Made completely from plastic from the House of the Future. If a wrecking ball were to hit it, it would just bounce right off.
