Disney Park Characters of Yesterland

So do any of you remember seeing characters in the Disney parks, when you were growing up, that do not walk around in public anymore?

In Disneyland, I remember seeing Launchpad & Darkwing Duck In Tomorrowland, Scrooge over by the Toon Town Bank, & The Sheriff of Nottingham/Robin Hood/Friar Tuck in Fantasyland.

But now they don't seem to be walking around in Disneyland anymore .

I've seen all of them within the past few years in WDW.

Speaking for Disney World; Launchpad has showed back in my November visit to Disney World. Some people have even forgotten who he was. Some even mistook him for Darkwing Duck too.

I have heard people that would like to see Darkwing Duck.

For me; I can only talk about characters; that I would have liked to see. But Haven't.

When I was a little girl and wanting to go out to Disney World. Few of things I would say were; that I would like to see Donald Duck & Dumbo. Riding the Flying Dumbo's was a must wanting goto Disney World back then too.

No, I have not seen Dumbo before. But I did ride the Flying Dumbo's.

I can't really speak for myself too much. Because I can tell you the characters I would like to see. But I don't know if they ever really showed up in Disney before.

Dumbo use to walk around at Disneyland. You can even see him running around at Disneyland, during the opening day ceremonies.

Dumbo was in WDW very briefly last year when his ride was undergoing rehab.

I actually saw Brear Bear and Rafiki (Lion King monkey) around Main Street a few weeks ago.

Hmmm, I'm still thinking...

I saw Baloo recently on Main Street, though a new Baloo is needed. Brer Bear and Brer Fox are seen fairly often in Critter Country. I've seen the three little pigs over by it's a small world a few times in the past year. I haven't seen Rafiki or Timon other than in parades. King Louie I have yet to see other than in Fantasmic.

Now I'm wondering....why are these characteres more likely to appear in WDW than DL? Almost all of these characteres I have seen in recent trips to WDW in the last few years. I don't seeing many of these on my last trip to DL.

Yeah, I have seen some of the characters that have been said so far and seen them enough too.
I don't think there has been a WDW trip yet.
Like: Brear Bear,Brear Fox,Timon,Rafiki,Robin Hood,& Friar Tuck.I have all seen them lots of times.

Daisy Duck I probably have seen one time at Disney World. But I'm sure she shows up more often now.Since she's been on more current shows. I would think she would be more thought of now.
Huey,Dewey,& Louie I have nevered once seen before though.

No, I have not seen Dumbo before. But I did ride the Flying Dumbo's.

There's a costumed Dumbo in the Electrical Parade over at DCA!

Thank you for telling me. I nevered been to DCA or Disneyland.I have only been to Disney World. But Disneyland does sound like it is easier to spot him there.

Well they can't be at more than one place at a time, and some of them just don't like to travel back and forth.
