  • Halyx Singer

Hello everyone. I read a bit of the discussion about "Halyx-The Wookie Band". I am Lora and I was the lead singer in that project. That was a great experience for me. Does anyone have any pics or recordings? I have a few but would love to see what others out there have. Thanks, and thanks for remembering.

Hey Lora, I have a bunch of 8X10 glossies somewhere around here.
I'd be happy to scan them for you....

Hi Lora! Hopefully you checked back at the Wookie band post. I put links to photos there and yes I have 15 audio tracks that I still listen to. I was in highschool at the time and a big fan. I saw many of your shows...it helped having a brother in P.R. at Disneyland! My favorite 2 songs were 'Jailbait 'and ('His Heart') written by Bruce Gowdy. Not sure the real name of that song. 'Lightning' was cool too. Hope all is well, Take care.

        Hi Lora,

I was glad to see your posting. I have just recently learned about your group for a different reason than Disneyland. I am hoping that you are the Lora Mumford who was related to Joseph Mumford. Joseph is actually a cousin of mine through his biological father, Richard Tammany. I have been trying to locate him to let him know that his family in Pennsylvania and California are interested in meeting him. Unfortunately, I believe that your brother is the one I am looking for and he has passed away. If you are the correct person, I would like to know as I would like to know where he is buried and just generally get to know him through you, if possible.

Please let me know if I have the right person or not. Thank you.

        Donna
