I recently came into procession of one of the original Disneyland ticket books, but I'm unsure of whether or not it is authentic or a reprint. To me it seems to be the real deal but the attraction line up is confusing me a bit. As listed this book has:
E: Submarine Voyage, Monorail, It's a Small World, Matterhorn, Country Bear Jamboree, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Tiki Room
D: Santa Fe and Disneyland Railroad, Flight to the Moon, Skyway, Tomorrowland Jets, Peoplemover, Storybook Land Canal Boats, Columbia, Mark Twain
C: Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, Autopia, Peter Pan's Flight, Mad Tea Party, Mr. Toad, Dumbo, Snow White, Frontierland Shooting Gallery
B: Main Street Cinema, Swiss Family Robinson, Casey Jr.
A: Main Street Vehicles and King Arthur's Carousel.
This is well before my era so I'm only going off of what I know here. As Pirates, Mansion and Small World are all listed, I assume this is post 1969 but pre 1974 as that's when the Santa Fe and Disneyland Railroad simply became the Disneyland Railroad. What I'm not getting here is why attractions like the Mine Train Thru's Nature's Wonderland or Adventure Thru Inner Space is not listed if it does fall in that 1969 - 1974 window. As well attractions like America Sings, Space Mountain, and Big Thunder are not listed either so I don't believe it's after 1975.
The book itself has a set of 3 stars printed vertically above the ticket letter name and also has "complimentary" printed at the bottom, two distinguishing features that I have not been able to locate on any other books. The back has the a castle silhouette, with the phrase "Your Courtesy Guest Admission to 5 Adventures in Disneyland". All 5 tickets are still attached to the book and have matching serial numbers along with the outside back cover.
I'd like to say that this ticket book is the real thing given it has a little wear and tear and is slightly faded (other than that in pretty good condition) but the discrepancies in attractions is having me thinking otherwise.
