Anybody got any recent construction photos uploaded somewhere to view the progress?

    Re: Construction Photos?

Ask Loomis I'm sure he has some somewhere from the past couple of weeks.

I would hope he will have some photos of hte Halloween stuff soon. Today is the AP preview! Poor me, I have to teach a bunch of students how to quote sources. My little one and our Miss N. get to go have all the halloween fun.

The newest pics below are from Bennet!

From tree house, the construction area is done! Its a very big area for new land entrance.

      The entrance and new bridge.

      Another angle.

Thank you. Interesting, the stroller parking sign...is that for the Tarzan rafts or for something new? Do you know?

Nice to see the park is packed to the rafters again, Hong Kong is the busiest Disney park!

I have a feeling something bad is going to happen if things dont pick up!

That lovely statue in the hub would sink the budget at WDW's MK.

Correction: bashing WDW and deservingly so. They do not rise to the same quality and worst! They make you pay extra for a halloween party that does not offer anything new from one year to the next. Here at HKDL, guests enjoy this event at regular prices... so you better believe I will rant on WDW for lowering the standard while charging more.
PS- I absolutely love DLR and do not bash it.. so generalizing that I'm bash the US parks is not quite true. but you as well as others only read from my posts what you want to read, which is so typical..

To be fair most of the pics do show areas of the park, where guest access is currently not permitted. I'm not to concern about the park not doing to well, as China is a very important market for Disney, and its one of Bob Iger's top priority's right now.

WDW bashing has no place here in the Hong Kong Disneyland section, where we should be discussing this park. WDW has its own boards for that!

ORDDU: I agree that WDW should not be charging extra for Halloween or Christmas events. If Hong Kong Disneyland can add these special entertainments for free, so can WDW. Of course there is no denying that the entire company is very greedy and indulges in price gouging. It doesn't hurt that some of us have the courage to point this out regardless of the topic at hand.

If you feel this way about WDW, start a thread on it in the WDW section. I just don't think its right that you and others hijack someone elses thread about Construction Photo's with your WDW criticism. Please don't use the Hong Kong boards to take shots at WDW.

Do you think Hong Kong Disneyland would be giving these Halloween events away for free if it wasn't for the fact Ocean Park does and also the fact attendance is low. If the attraction count was higher, I think it would perhaps go and may in the future go to a ticketed event. Disneyland Paris is tasting the waters out this year in regards to ticketed events also.

ORDDU: Is it possible that you migt be over-reacting to something here, Malin, dear? There's really nothing wrong with making comparison's between the various parks around the world. Of course you're right about the fact that Hong Kong Disneyland would most likely over-charge and price gouge, too, if they thought they could get away with it. But until they actually show evidence toward that end, a coven of witches isn't about to accuse them of it. In any case, everyone is inspired by these topics differently and if we all start policing each other about how to respond, we'll have a lot of hard feelings on our hands. Unless someone is being rude and unkind in the way they go about expressing themselves, why not let them have their say without fear of reprisal?
