  • Has anyone been there since the park opened?

We are past the official opening day hoopla of Hong Kong Disney Resort. What are the regular crowds like? Are they as bad as opening day?

I visited on Sept 14th (only 2 days after the grand opening) and the park was very uncrowded. I would guess the crowd at around 7,000 guests.

My question is were the guests any better behaved?
A bit of evil lurks in your heart, but you hide it well.
In some ways, you are the most dangerous kind of evil.

Yes and No. I did not experience line cutting since much everythnig was a walkon.. and those 'experiences' that required a line, such as Fantasia Gardens (where you line up to have your pic taken with characters) guests seemed to queue just fine. However, I did see people disregarding rules such as NO flash or video, and NO cellphones or pagers. Most guests were using flash inside both theater shows. One guest behind me received a cell phone in the middle of the show and talked for almost a minute. Very rude and unruly. I also witnessed several guests paying no attention to the safety rules, such as when riding the train around the bern where I saw several guests standing up for the whole duration of the ride and NO CM ever came up on the PA to tell them to take their seats.

Of course...my day at HKDL was quite uncrowded, but I can see a lot of problems and rudeness if the park was packed to the gills... Similar stuff that you see guests do at DLP, where questionable guest behavior is one of my biggest petpeeves.
