We have a front page filled with amazing content. We offer weekly meetups in the parks. Meets and events all over the world. Podcasts and videos. And we continue to maintain forums for your posting convenience. But with all those options, we can't be everywhere all the time. We need YOUR help. Please don't poke the trolls. Report posts and leave reputation. We'll do our best to keep the forums clean and active, but we can't do so without your help.

    Would the new HongKong-Zhuhai-Macau Mega Bridge bring more visitors to HKDL?

    According to the latest local news, all 3 parties (Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macau) have decided to start construction on the Mega Bridge tentatively on 20th December 2009.

    Once completed by 2015/2016, It is estimated that the daily capacity of the mega bridge would be as follows: the mega bridge is designed to allow over 51.6 thousand cars/day, 233.8 thousand people/day to go through Hong Kong Checkpoints at the bridge.

    It will make the location of HKDL even better, right by huge airport, and right by a mega bridge that will bring people from Macau (the Las Vegas of China). I think it would bring more people, but I wouldn't really know forsure..

      that's bridge will be Gorgeous . The Longest bridge that i've seen is Between Copenhagen ( Denmark ) and Malmo ( Sweden ).

        Tyler1994, you make a great point on the fact that HKDL is in a prime location, however untill HKDL opens up its three new lands to boost capacity and invest into the overall resort (such as a Downtown District to give day time guest and guest staying on property more options other than the main theme park and Inspiration Lake to explore and enjoy as the new lands hopefully bring in added attendance), and until HKITP can make those new steps forward, the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will never be able to take advantage of their prime location.
