No 7-11 please. The one inside the DLR MTR station is already enough. I'd be glad if they bring the rainforest cafe (which was at Festival Walk in Kowloon Tong) back to HK. Maybe Cirque du Soleil?? But they've already got one in Macau...

The 7-11 in DLR MTR Station has closed...

It would be great if they bring Cirque du Soleil to HKDLR. The one in Macau would not be a problem, as it has 7 shows in Las Vegas! However, even if it comes, I don't think it will be build in the first phase of Downtown. It has to wait until HKDL is popular enough to support a circus show.

Cinema would also be useful to hold premiere of Disney movie. If it has IMAX facility, it could really draw crowd form nearby area.

Fine dining - Chinese style, please. Invite some of Hong Kong's chefs to create some really award-winning menu options and set them in a luxurious, opulent Disney imagineered environment.

People go to Hong Kong to shop and bring home treasures, bring some of that excitement to the resort.

ORWEN: Well, let me think a second...oh, yes!! They need to have a Krispy Kreme Donut Shop more than anything else!

ORGOCH: Fergit it, sister! Yer body's already full a more sugar than Willy Wonka Choc'late fac'try! What Ping Pong Dizzyland REALLY needs is a shop that sells FROG fritters! Ya know--somethin' that'll REALLY bring in the crowds!

          ORWEN: Eeeeewwwww!

ORDDU: I would suggest something akin to the local market place we have in our very own neighborhood. A place that sells medieval items such as chain mail, battle axes and battering rams for whenever someone wants to storm the castle. Ah, I really love shopping for things like that at our local Wal-Morva!

Deep fried frog anything is actually a pretty good choice for Ping Pong Dizzyland.

There are already fine dining restaurants in Disneyland Hotel...

Perhaps lots of bars if they really want to attract teens and young adults. Make it like Lan Kwai Fong but not too adult-ish. And add the peoplemover to the Park Promenade.

Something like Lan Kwai Fong but with more Hong Kong local flavour. Cha Chaan Tengs and Dai Pai Dongs will be welcome. Stir fry and beer in an open air setting. I like that.

Also a fast food place for the more conservative visitors.

Fashion Cafe! Hahaha, kidding of course. I expect something gimmicky like that or a Rainforest Cafe. I think there has to be a themed restaurant of sorts, just not too many please. And not Bubba Gump please. I find it hard to enjoy that restaurant if it's not near a body of water.

Cinemas definitely. But there was to be more (or cheaper) for people to justify the trek there for a movie.

An arcade would be nice, a fancy one would be terrific. Unless I'm mistaken, arcades are doing better business in Asia than it is in the US. If we can dream further, DisneyQuest should be a no-brainer.

Coffee shops with outdoor seating. Starbucks is to be expected, but Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf would be wonderful.

An ice cream shop. Coldstone Creamery. Is there even one in Hong Kong? If not, I'd settle for Ben & Jerry's since I know that's available.

A magic shop, but they should put that in Main Street.

ORGOCH: Magic shops is a dime a dozen here in Morva. But I guess things is dif'rent in the REAL world--where magic don't seem ta happen ev'ry day. A shame ya cain't cast spells on yer neighbors an' turn 'em inta frogs--like I does whenever I gits hungry!

Hong Kongers will flock to HKDLR if a proper shopping/dining/entertainment place is built. Considering how crowded malls in HK are, Downtown Disney HK could be a very good idea. At night the resort is the loneliest place ever, so a lively and crowded addition would be most welcome.
