  • More Flexibility by introducing tickets with 6 month validity

HK Disneyland is going to introduce a new type of ticket starting 3rd Jan 2006. Tickets will be valid within 6 months of Purchase.

Guests who purchase Regular day and Peak day tickets can visit the park on the same day type within six months of their ticket purchase. Guests who purchase Special day tickets will receive a date-specific ticket for their chosen date.

For guests who already have purchased date-specific tickets, they can exchange the original tickets for the new flexible tickets at Guest Relations window at the Main Gate at the front of Hong Kong Disneyland Park.

So wait...does this mean they buy the ticket and have six months to use it or can buy a 2 day ticket valid over a six month period?

It is very simple, it is still the same ticket (but without specifying the exact date). So starting from 3rd January 2006, if you buy weekday ticket, you are allowed to visit the park any weekday within 6 months instead of restricting you a specific weekday. same applies to Peak Day ticket. so this is just a regular use-once ticket but valid for 6 months.

Ah, so buy it now have 6 months to use it. Was that really a big concern to residents?

they introduced this new ticket scheme for mainland tourists and mainland tour operators. local residents usually buy tickets on the day they visit the park at either the main gate or at the ticket booth at Hong Kong MTR Station.
