Wow, in only less than a year HK Disneyland has faced more trouble than some parks face in a lifetime it seems.

I don't know about the laws overseas, but if an autopsy proves that she would have died anyways, then Disney cannot be faulted.

She probably had a good three months left.

What is the punishment for frivolous lawsuits in Singapore or Hong Kong? I hope it's a caning.

Man.. I knew they were dying to get into the park, but this is ridiculous.
              Growing older is manditory
              Growing up is however, optional

Oy. Every thing that happens at HKDL becomes a political thing in Hong Kong.

One more follow up to this story that won't go away:

HK government blamed in Disney death

HONG KONG, China (UPI) -- The daughter of a woman who died at Hong Kong Disneyland last year has accused the Hong Kong government of a coverup after learning no inquest will be held.

Singaporean Joanna Boey said she plans to pursue her case through U.S. courts, the South China Morning Post reported Thursday.

Nge Yoi Chan was 82 when she died of heart problems at the theme park in September.

Boey said she was surprised to hear the investigation into her mother`s death had been closed, because she had never been contacted for evidence she holds, including transcripts of conversations with an insurance company which contradict Disneyland statements that staff did everything they could to help.

Boey claims that when her mother became ill at the theme park, Disney staff offered no medical services.

She maintains that if Hong Kong authorities had been sincere about investigating the case, they would have contacted her for evidence.

'They want to cover everything up. ... The government does have a 50 percent share in Disney,' she said.
