  • MTR will build Rail line extending from North of Shenzhen to South of Hong Kong

In a Conference held at Shenzhen, the chairman of Hong Kong MTR said that after the merger of MTR and KCR, within 10 years time, he would like to see one-stop service extending from North of Shenzhen to South of Hong Kong.

With the huge population in Mainland China, MTR is providing a vital route to link up Hong Kong with the Mainland via Shenzhen. transportation-wise, Hong Kong is gradually integrating with Shenzhen.

Combined population of Hong Kong and Shenzhen = 7million + 10million (or more) = 17 million (or more)

5-10 years down the road, the combined population of HK and Shenzhen will grow to approx 20 million (or more)

I see a great potential of Hong Kong Disneyland...
