(HONG KONG, July 9, 2006) - The future is cool this summer as Hong Kong Disneyland presents a range of super-hip merchandise in celebration of its three new attractions in Tomorrowland - Autopia, Stitch Encounter and UFO Zone - which officially open to theme park guests July 13, 2006.

The latest Tomorrowland merchandise collection consists of over 100 items and is exclusively available at Hong Kong Disneyland. The new items are destined to become collectible treasures for Disney enthusiasts and it is expected that many guests would like to take home a piece of their Hong Kong Disneyland vacation magic.

The Autopia-themed merchandise - designed exclusively for the opening of the new driving-themed attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland - is a world first for Disneyland and only available in Hong Kong. Some of the merchandise features Autopia's brightly colored convertible cars with Mickey Mouse decked out in his driving suit. The season's "must-have" items include Autopia t-shirts in hues of sunshine yellow or deep blue.

Disney's up-and-rising star "Stitch," aka "Experiment 626," has his space cruiser's coordinates set to soon at his new home in Hong Kong! This mischievous blue alien, already wildly famous in Japan, is Hong Kong's newest and brightest star with the opening of Stitch Encounter in Tomorrowland. The Stitch-themed merchandise is set to become the newest 'hot' item among the teenagers, and the young at heart.

Stitch-themed back pack, suitable for all ages, features the loveable and mischievous alien - with his typical exuberance. They're just a few of the "must-buy" items for fans of the tiny and talkative Stitch Encounter star.

Collectible, limited-edition pins have long been popular at Disney theme parks around the world. To commemorate the expansion of new Tomorrowland at Hong Kong Disneyland, 1,100 sets of limited-edition pins will be released and available for guests to purchase July 13, 2006. Each of the three pins highlights one of the new attractions will become a collector's item for Disney fans.

And after children and their parents have had a chance to talk to Stitch inside Stitch Encounter, they can take home a "robot-inspired" version of Experiment 626. The remote control Stitch "dog" is agleam with mirrorlike colors and walks, shake its head and blinks eyes on command. For kids, it's the perfect pal that never runs out of steam.
