ORWEN: I think the Mountains in the background actually compliment the castle over there! Just as the Mountains in Anaheim compliment the original Sleeping Beauty Castle. After all, no one should expect a castle to be taller than a mountain.
ORDDU: Plus, in the Disney film, Sleeping Beauty Castle was actually perched in the midst of mountains. So, it does seem to be a most fitting backdrop.

 Mountains in Anaheim? Behind D-land??? I've been going to D-land since 1976 and never recall there being a huge natural mountain behind the castle. East of D-land about 20ish miles yes, looming behind the park, no.
In any case, it's just a personal preference is all.

ORWEN: Why, sure there are mountains near Disneyland, duckling. They may not be as close to the park, there, as the ones in Hong Kong are to THAT park, but on a clear day you can see them off in the distance, depending on where you're standing. And you're certainly entitled to your personal preferences. In Florida they have NO mountains in the distance. Everything is just flat. Maybe you'd like that better?

To be fair, I think there's an obvious difference between a mountain right behind the castle and one in the distance. And yes, it's a matter of taste. That said, I rather like the look of mountains surrounding the park. Makes it cozy-feeling.He is not a beachboy! He's studying marine biology there on the floating city.

The font
Quote: "Is iit just me, or are the L-A-N-D different in the HKD logo then they were in the DLP logo?"
They're different!
The "land" in the Parisian version is the traditional "Walt Disney" logo style. The new Hong Kong logo seems to use letters that are less rounded. I can't really see much of a difference in the "n" (there is a little), but the "l" and the "a" are definitely a different take on this traditional font. So don't be confused anymore...Leave that to me!
